These Terms govern your use of BrieflyKeep (“Brief”, “we”, “us”), including the browser extension and dashboard.

Beta service

Brief is currently an early-access beta. It is provided free while we learn. Features, limits, availability, and the service may change, be interrupted, or end before any paid launch. We do not promise that summaries are complete, accurate, current, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Your use of Brief

You may use Brief for lawful personal or professional reading and research. You are responsible for the pages and text you choose to submit. Do not use Brief to submit unlawful material, infringe others’ rights, bypass access controls or paywalls, interfere with the service, or attempt to abuse, reverse engineer, or automate the service beyond its intended use.

AI-generated summaries

Summaries are generated from the source you provide and can contain omissions or errors. They are an aid to reading, not professional, legal, medical, financial, safety, or other expert advice. Check the original source before relying on a summary or making a decision.

Your content and our service

You keep any rights you have in content you submit. You give us the limited permission needed to store and process that content solely to operate, secure, and improve Brief as described in the Privacy Policy. We may apply reasonable limits or suspend access to protect users, providers, and the service.

Account and deletion

Keep your Google account secure. You can delete individual captures or permanently delete your account from the dashboard. Account deletion is irreversible. If a paid plan is introduced later, any additional billing, cancellation, and refund terms will be presented before purchase.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brief is provided “as is” and “as available.” We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-data damages arising from use of the beta. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
